Her sounds are so alive and I definitely love how she blends rock, r&b, neo-soul, and jazz creating a sound that is her own. If you like Kem, Floetry, or Sade, then you will love Amij. Her sound is eclectic & I love that! Amij doesn't cater to one particular genre, she adds her own flavor and spin to her music and each song evokes feeling. Her songs are dealing with relationships and emotions, and everyone can really relate to each one! But not only does she take you there, she also talks about life's issues in general. She sings about uplifting yourself and becoming a better person. We all need that kind of positivity and feeling of betterment. Amij is definitely real music. I mean REAL MUSIC.
