I'm very excited to be playing a set at this cool little venue for Songwriters Live. The Red Door Sets feature 4 upcoming original acts and to go with the sweet music you can indulge is some tasty modern Mexican food at very reasonable prices. I'll be up first on the night at 8pm. Come and have some fun down in Balmain!
I'm kicking off 2014 at the lovely Tipple Bar in Surry Hills with Songwriters Live. A seriously chilled little venue with great food and atmosphere. I'll be on first at 6pm followed by 3 other original acts. See you there x
Once again I will be performing in my local area for the annual Ryde Christmas Celebration. Accompanying me will be David Longo on guitar, we'll be playing some of my original songs, some well known favourites and even a Christmas carol or two to get into the spirit of the season. I'll be winding down the chilled afternoon from 6-7pm. Come and lay out your picnic rug with a bunch of family and friends, listen to live music while the kids can visit Santa, make Christmas decorations and craft. There are also unlimited water slides and summer rides for $10 per person - all in the beautiful surrounds of Ryde Park.
Songwriters Live, run by Keith Armitage, showcases local Singer/Songwriters at many venues around Sydney. The Coogee Bay Hotel is a great venue and starting in August will host Songwriters Live every Tuesday night. I'll be kicking off the night at 7.30pm with a set of my original songs - got some new ones - so come on down.
My first gig this year - crazy being in April, but I have been doing a bit of study and writing for, yes, a new album. I'm really looking forward to getting back out there to play my songs and The Tipple Bar is such a lovely venue to perform. I hope to see some friendly faces in the audience. I'll be first up at 7pm. See you there : )
