About

Chronic Records is an independent record label out of Miami in 2005. Hydro, the C.E.O of Chronic Records was looking to have a label with a fresh sound & unique artists. The roster includes: Remedy4,Alyric,LOS& Ms. Niecy.

The first  Chronic artists to have music playing on the airwaves all over the nation was Remedy their single"Hot Music".The single was so well received that it even made it on the Ultra Hits Cd. Remedy's began with Chronic Records in 2008 when while working with a writer named "King", he played the song for Hydro and that is how Remedy became signed to Chronic Records.  Considering the music scene has seen its fair share of false prescriptions, Remedy takes center stage to give R&B what it’s been missing. Kyle Owens (Smooth) 25, Joshua (Roe) 21, David (Fresh) 20, & Daniel (Lux) Robinson 19, learned at an early age what it was like to struggle. The brothers were born and raised in Rochester, NY by their single mother, Verna Robinson. The boys sought out music in order to escape from their poverty stricken environment. As time went on they realized that they were given a gift and continued to sing together. This united them as brothers and gave them a strong desire to succeed. They started singing together as a band in 1992; it would seem Remedy was destined to be called The Robinson Brothers. However, 12 years later, the brothers felt R&B needed a cure. Something that could heal its wounds and mend its sores. As the doctor would prescribe, a Remedy of four musical voices would emerge, all alike in ways, but different in others. Combining a blend of fuse pop, R&B, soul, and hip-hop, the eldest of the group, Smooth, sings a baritone bass, accompanied by Lux, & Fresh on tenor, and Roe on 1st tenor. In 2004, seeking a greater opportunity to pursue their artistic careers, Remedy relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Following in the steps of influences like Jodeci, Boyz II Men, and Take 6, it didn't take much for the brothers to adjust to their new surroundings and make a name for themselves. The brothers bring a little of their NY roots and mix it with their new found southern life to change the face of R&B.

The Hip/Hop/Rap part of the label consists of  Alyric,LOS & Ms. Niecy. Alyric originates from Carol City, Florida and has been in the game for 11 years. He is an extremely talented song writer and has a different style. Los brings his unique voice which many say is a cross between Jay-z & Eminem. His NY roots are shown in the way he spits his verses. The last one on the roster is Ms. Niecy who brings sexiness to the songs while still being hood.Look out for all of these distinct and diverse artists' on the Chronic Records presents:"Keep It Street" compilation album.
