"All Wrong and the Plans Change" began in the studio in early 2007 under the guidance of producer and guitarist John Would. The band recorded their debut
EP “Deals” (Rel. Dec 07) as a four piece sprinkled with a revolving door of guest musicians. Songs on the EP show off Conway's ability to craft a wide range of indie rock songs from “the moody” to “the upbeat” - all of which contain compelling lyrics and melody delivered by her striking voice. Continuing to expand on that foundation, the band decided to retool the line up in order to hone-in on an edgier sound.
In August of 2007, All Wrong became a trio consisting of Conway, Wood, and new
guitarist Percy Haverson (buddy, knifeyhead). The band played their first show
to a packed house in Los Angeles in October 2007 with a full set of new material.
So new in fact that most of the songs have yet to be even tracked in-studio as demos. Channeling influences more to the tune of a female fronted “Pixies”, All Wrong's new incarnation illuminates Conway's vocals, song crafting skills and edgy lyrics. With Amy Wood's commanding percussion, and Haverson's imaginative yet solid guitar riffs the band plans to head into the studio in January of 2008 to record their debut release.
All wrongs music can be most recently heard on TV's “Gossip Girl” and Conway was featured in an episode of MTV's “Made!”.
