“New Audio Interview with Connor!”
“8.20 Show review from the Whisky A Go Go supporting In This Moment!”
“Even from a first listen to All Hail The Yeti's “Trees On Fire With Songs Of Blood” I could immediately sink into the Groovy and raw sound that they achieve. This Southern California quintet have created a focused work bent on catchy southern grooves and edgy death metal attitude. The guitar work could be considered minimalist, but the riff smithing is first and foremost in service to the song structure which results in memorable riffs and smooth transitions. Sure there aren’t any super “shredy” guitar solos or multi-layered harmonies, but these songs are about heavy, primal attack. The thundering rhythms from the drums and bass leave breathing room for some killer tempo changes. Unlike many bands who try to mix up singing styles from soaring clean choruses all the way to guttural death metal growling. You get the feeling listening to Yeti that they know exactly what they’re doing with these songs, and this lets the listener sit back and enjoy the ride.”
