Back on the train- Rock music with singer-songwriter sensibility, touches of reggae, vintage soul, and an improvisatory freedom. Soulful singer / songwriter and guitarist Adam Ward has teamed up with longtime friend John Dinger, a driving, funky bassist, for an upbeat, tuneful new project which explores original music along with fresh takes on carefully curated classics from the roots rock, reggae and soul cannon. Eben Hearn rounds out the group on drums anchoring the band's tight grooves and shout-along choruses with a dynamic back-beat and a healthy dose of rhythmic flare. They are joined by People Skills, with Psychedelic Lullaby Rock for the inner canals of your cavernous cranium, Melodic Riff Rock for all your rump shakin’ good times and Pop from outer space for that little bit of alien in all of us. Led by Chelsea Paolini on guitar and vocals – and rounded out by Andrew Paolini on drums, and Greg Baldi on bass – People Skills exist to renew your faith in butt-shakin’, feel good heady rock and roll. Ska/Reggae band The Feel Goods will also grace the stage, paying homage to the originators of the genre while diversifying their sound, bringing ska and reggae to the twenty-first century. With influences of ska, punk, soul, rocksteady and dub, this band puts on a show that is unlikely to be seen anywhere else. With luscious four part vocal harmonies, monstrous horn lines and intoxicating live dub, The Feel Goods are a band not to be missed! “Their shows have a synchronicity that forces the audience to wonder if they’re really human. It doesn’t matter if they’re jamming or speeding through a short ska number, the band’s improvisation is flawless. The band’s music is like a gumbo in which each member brought their own stylistic ingredient to the pot and created a smooth sound that’s loaded with fusion.”
