Alex Rivera is a native of Dallas, Texas. His first musical experience was listening to old 8 track recordings of Big Band Jazz from the 40s. Soon after, his father, a local jazz musician named Danny Hollis, introduced him to the genre of Jazz, that would later become his passion in life.
