Alex Bonacci began playing drums at the age of seven.
He attended a Berklee College course where he had the pleasure to study with Ron Savage, Ken Cervenka and Matthew Nicholl and meet many great artists of all over the world.

“Non so come si collochi l’incontro musicale live tra Antonio “Rigo” Righetti e i Lowlands (tutti, qualcuno, la maggior parte) sul palco di SpazioMusica martedì 7 giugno 2011, ma so per certo che è valsa la pena esserci stati!
Il set è stato un misto di classico e di personale, dai goldies più o meno oldies del rock e del blues, che Rigo riesce sempre a fare propri, ai suoi brani autografi. E in tutto questo i Lowlands lo hanno seguito e coadiuvato, sia nella formazione base “chitarra-basso-batteria” (con Roberto Diana, Rigo e Alex Bonacci) cui Rigo è più legato, sia quando il sound ha potuto godere della presenza del violino di Chiara Giacobbe, del mandolino di Paolo Tosini e della presenza di Edward Abbiati per i brani in cui tutti hanno preso parte.”
