Alessandro Novello was born in November 1978 in Castelfranco Veneto (TV). He attended the technical institute in his home town before spending a number of years in various cities around the world: London, Brusselles, Recife (Brazil)...where he turned his hand to a wide range of jobs. Now, after numerous years of travelling around South America, the United States, Europe and parts of Africa, where experiences and encounterss have enriched him enormously, he is studying social services at the University of Ca' Foscari in Venice. He started to make music and to write songs towards the end of 1999, when he began to realise that he could start to overlook the critical opinions of the people around him. After some soul-searching and months of basement jam-sessions with musicians from the local rock scene, in April 2004 he finally formed one of the most active rock-grunge bands in the area and beyond, writing lyrics in English with cutting themes that ranged from anger and dissatisfaction to love and frustration for what is not or always arrives too late. With his band he took part in numeorus musical competitions, various festivals and played in may of the coolest venues in the north of Italy. He has also established ties with numerous music labels and promotion agencies such as www.insanemood.com and www.alkemist-fanatix.com. After almost two years of live performances, Alessandro gained the confidence and artistsic maturity to take up a career as a solo performer, and in the winter of 2006 he began to compose songs in Italian, choosing a completely different genre from that which he was used to but which had always appealed to him. With his acoustic guitar in his arms, a few ideas and heaps of passion...in no time at all he had a number of songs ready: instinctively released emotions! In July 2006 a four-song demo was recorded and mixed with just guitar and voice. Notwithstanding the initial idea of a solo project, Alessandro gathered a number of musicians around him (bass, drums and piano) in order to give the songs a more articulated arrangement, eventually completing the project with the publication of a cd "Facilmente Impressionabile" (Easily Disturbed), produced at the Overdrive Recording Studio (Treviso) between March and May 2007.

Alessandro Novello nasce nel novembre del 1978 in quel di Castelfranco Veneto (TV). Ha frequentato l' I.T.C.G dell sua citta' natale, dopo di che si e' trasferito per alcuni anni in diverse citta' del mondo quali London, Bruxelles, Recife (Brasile) ..dove ha svolto i lavori piu' disparati. Attualmente, dopo anni di viaggio tra Sud America, States, Europa e un po' d'Africa, dove le esperienze e le varie conoscenze gli hanno donato tanto, e' iscritto a Scienze dei Servizi Sociali all' universita' Ca' Foscari di Venezia. Ha cominciato a suonare e a scrivere canzoni verso la fine del 1999, quando comincio' a rendersi conto che l'opinione critica della gente diveniva per lui un problema sorvolabile. Dopo alcune ricerche, prove e mesi in cantina con diversi musicisti della scena rock locale, fonda nell' aprile 2004 una delle band rock-grunge piu' attive della zona (e non solo), trattando liriche di sua composizione in lingua inglese con temi piuttosto taglienti come la rabbia, l' insoddisfazione, l'amore e la delusione per quello che non ce' o che sempre tarda ad arrivare. Con la sua band partecipa a diversi contest, svariati importanti festival, e calca inoltre i palchi dei locali piu' cool del nord Italia. Diverse le collaborazioni e contatti con etichette e operatori del settore come www.insanemood.com e www.alkemist-fanatix.com. Dopo quasi due anni di attivita' live, il musicista acquisisce maggiore sicurezza e la maturita' artistica lo porta ad intraprendere una carriera cantautorale solista. Infatti, nel primo inverno 2006, inizia a comporre testi e musiche in italiano, puntando ad un genere completamente diverso da quello delle sue esperienze precedenti, ma che a lui sempre ha affascinato. Chitarra acustica tra le braccia, qualche idea, tanta passione...portano alla realizzazione di diverse canzoni in un breve tempo: emozioni sfociate istintivamente! Un demo viene dunque registrato e mixato in studio, in presa diretta, nel luglio del 2006, dove sono incluse quattro canzoni con solo chitarra e voce. Nonostante l'iniziale progetto solista, il cantautore arruola alcuni musicisti (bassista, batterista e pianista) con i quali arrangia i pezzi in una chiave un po' piu' complessa e completa, sino a completare l'opera con la pubblicazione del disco "Facilmente Impressionabile" registrato presso l'Overdrive Recording Studio (TV) tra marzo e maggio del 2007.
