Alberto Garantón (a.k.a. Albert Crombie) was born in the year 1979 in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. He started out with music as a child receiving weekly violin lessons at the early age of 6. But his first real challenge with music came along at age 13 when he joined a rock band formed by school friends playing the bass guitar as his new instrument.
