As today’s landscape is rich with a variety of musical trends and styles, a new breed of musical creativity is evolving, and Akshan is poised and ready to take his sound to the next level.

Akshan is a Jamaican born artist with a confidence and a command of stage that puts him in a category of his own. Combining elements of his Jamaican culture and blending them with the modern day Pop-Rock –hip movement, he creates a modern “Hip-Fusion” style that is definitive of who he is. His sound utilizes a cross reference of Jamaican and American vernaculars to create his unique sound.

Akshan is "creatively un-inhibited," blending the many styles and genres of music that has influenced him throughout his life. Akshan is a hybrid of many influences, all of which will be reflected in his sophomore album “The I-Brid” which is currently in the production and will further define his “Hip-Fusion” style.
