AKINSANYA was born in the garden parish of St. Ann,grew up in Trelawny and now reside in the inner-city of Kingston.Early childhood education included Albert Town Primary,Warsop All-Age, William Knibb Memorial High and Exed Community College. My musical influences began when I started singing in the William Knibb school choir and being exposed to music as a subject in school. Upon leaving school in 1992, I pursued a career as a poet and my journey led me to a band by the name of “Wos” (1999) that required a keyboard player. Applying the music theory I gained from school, I excelled in performance with this group doing many shows. It is a great joy and honour to be in the band. “NOW IS THE TIME.
