“Some of the most famous names in rock music suffered from misspellings. Sheffield metallers Def Leppard are perhaps the best example while 70s chart stars Slade gloried in hits called things like Cum On Feel The Noize, Mama Weer All Crazee Now, Gudbuy T' Jane and Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me. Bradford band Aggravation almost continued that fine tradition when they accidentally called themselves Aggrevation with an "e".But the three-piece have finally bitten the bullet and reverted to themore conventional spelling as they prepare to release a new EP at the end of summer. Originally formed in 2003 when they were still at school, the boys have honed their songwriting skills as they have gained valuable gigging experience playing venues in Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Halifax and Huddersfield. Their line-up of Gavin Stevenson (guitar and vocals), Ben Walker (bass)and Tom Durrans (drums) have twice recorded live sessions for Simon Ashberry's long-running radio show Bradford Beat on BCB 106.6FM.”
