Bio
Addison Kirk is no ordinary 20 year old. His gifts for creating moving arrangements range from deeply inspiring, to remarkably calm and serene. He enjoys "creating beautiful music that brings peace to the mind and inspires the spirit." Many listeners enjoy his album "Til We Meet Again: in Honor of Gordon B. Hinckley."
While performing may appear effortless, it has taken patience, time, and hours of practice. Addison recalls "I remember waking up at 5 each morning as a 4th grader to practice before school. As I look back, all of those early morning hours spent practicing have been so worthwhile."
"I hope that through my music, you can feel the peace that comes through our Savior Jesus Christ."

About
If you were to ask Addison where he got his talent for the piano, He would give the credit to his Heavenly Father. His gifts for creating moving arrangements and compositions range from deeply stirring and inspiring, to remarkably calm and serene. He says "I enjoy creating beautiful music on the piano that brings peace to the mind and inspires the spirit."
Such attention and care doesn't go unnoticed by listeners. In fact, its often a daily occurrence to receive compliments from listeners, and comments on his website. Fans use words like "remarkable," "spiritual," "utterly indescribable," and "wow!"
Addison has always loved Hymns. While preparing to serve a mission for his church, he set out on a 21 day quest to create an album in honor of the late President Gordon B. Hinckley. With feedback and encouragement from fans, and a lot of inspiration, the result of this quest was "'Til We Meet Again: In Honor of Gordon B. Hinckley". The album features a stirring arrangement of "Praise to the Man", a favorite of Gordon B. Hinckley's, as well as a beautiful rendition of "My Redeemer Lives", the text for which was written by Gordon B. Hinckley.
While it often appears as if the music flows almost effortlessly from his fingertips, it has taken patience, time, and hours of practice. Addison recalls "I began playing the piano when I was 7 years old. I remember as a 4th grader, waking up at 5 am each morning just to practice before I went to school. My parents never forced or nagged me to practice — I did it because it was something I loved. As I look back, all of those early morning hours spent practicing have been so worthwhile."
Even more important is the role that inspiration has played in creating his music. He hopes the same spirit is felt while listening. He says "I hope that through my music, you can feel the peace that comes through our Savior Jesus Christ. He knows your heart. He wants you to draw near to Him. I know that he is always there for us, if we but call upon him — both in thanks as well as in our time of need — and then listen to hear his voice."
