Adam Kidd has been playing in the Brighton (UK) music scene for over a decade, starting as a teenager in the punky rock group rift and going on to play a part in many groups including Pornography, Kiyomori, The Pocketwatchers, Xam Xam and Mind Train. A versatile musician and prolific song-writer, The Adam Kidd Band originally formed to add substance to a set of spare songs Adam had been playing acoustically.

Over the past year and a half they have become a regular fixture in venues across the city with a captivating live show and a set of catchy songs that confidently explore a diverse range of styles and influences to achieve an original sound.

The band completed their first three-track recording as a unit in Winter '08 (Sunshine, Into The Night & Virtually) which you can currently listen to online here, facebook and myspace.

In early 2009 the band bolstered their ranks with the addition of Adam's long-term collaborator, Tom Alty (rift), on second guitar. With the final piece of the puzzle in place they played a handful of excellent live shows in the spring and are currently decamped to record a full length album, which they hope to have completed by August.

Look out for a confident return toward the end of Summer when the band intend to unleash themselves to a wider audience than ever before!
