Adam Isaac and the People is the concept of bassist, singer, Adam Isaac. The group consist of bassist/vocalist Adam Isaac, guitarist Joe Niesen,guitarist, Bill Roberts,drummer Joey B. Banks,and saxophonists Gabe Turner and Pete Ross. The band began playing shows around the Midwest in 2006. Adam Isaac and the People perform mostly original funk, soul, and pop based music and covers Prince, The Meters, The Ohio Players, and Marvin Gaye. They have shared the stage with ’heavy hitters’ such as the Headhunters, Clyde Stubblefield, The Charlie Hunter Trio, original members of the Meters and most recently shared the stage with the North Indiana All Stars. The goal of the band is to spread their unique brand of funky,soul pop around the globe.
