Adam would describe his songs as alternative/rock/pop punk which is influenced heavily by the sounds of Green Day and the Foo Fighters as well as bands such as Frame 3-13 and Dufraine to name a few.

Adam started songwriting in his second year of university after only playing guitar for a year prior to this, Adam originally comes from Chichester and Bognor Regis listening to the local bands such as Aubrey Lemmon and Britonica early on. One of Adam's ambitions is to play at the Rox Festival in Bognor Regis which has had great acts playing at this festival and its FREE!!

Adam has come such a long way from the open mics in April 2007 where he started off honing his musical style. April 2008 was the first gig that Adam had done, supporting singer songwriters, Aggi Thomas, Andy Hickie and Andy Jones.

Since then Adam has had 4 headlining slots at his own gigs and at Bar Co nights that were organised by Gareth Croot (From the Dark Promotions), and the general reception to the music has been positive.

The change of name from Adam Burse to Adam AVIT!! happened midway through 2008 when Adam decided to have a stage name that was catchy, memorable and in keeping with the style of music that Adam was and still is playing today which is rock/pop punk. Since then a lot more people have heard of Adam if not come to the gigs as well so Adam's hopes for 2009 is to build on the sucess of 2008 and play more gigs as well as hopefully release his debut E.P/Album.

One of the biggest highlights for Adam was playing at the back end of 2007 in the Chichester Inn where his friends came to see him play and got a really positive reception from those who knew him and those that didn't, he got to play twice on the evening which was awesome as he was playing in a venue from his original hometown of Chichester in West Sussex.

Other highlights include playing in 2008's singer songwriter competition @ Milkwood Jam and supporting 2 up and coming bands The Atoms and One Random Sunday as well as supporting up and coming Songwriter Dave McSpade.

Adam has recently switched to playing an electric guitar in Open Mics and at Gigs as this brought more life to songs which sounded good anyway such as 6 Degrees from Nowhere and I Don't Care (real crowd pleasers)but he still does do acoustic shows when asked so get in touch.

2009 has been imense, Adam has played 11 gigs so far this year, He's a quarter finalist in Wana C's second BOTB of 2009 @ The Garage, and is looking to release his first Solo EP - "JOIN THE RIOT" before the end of 2009. In 2010 he is looking to write more songs, do more gigs again, restarting promoting through his AVIT!! PROMOTIONS concern and working as a reviewer (possibly more) for Death Monkey Records.
