About Acoustic/Electric Sunshine

Electric Sunshine One of the region’s exciting new roots rock rebels, Electric Sunshine is a group of local musicians whose music transcends age and genre. Formed as a quintet, the band uniquely blends a variety of genres.  Rock n’ roll, blues, classic R&B, country, reggae and jazz all come together in Electric Sunshine’s music to create a gumbo that’s as diverse as it is quintessentially American. Electric Sunshine is: Brian Intrary – Lead & rhythm guitar, vocals.  Brian also performs as half of the duet Acoustic Sunshine   Richard “Doc” Burton – Soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophone, clariphone & vocals.  Doc performs as a member of the Blues Trio and as half of the duet Acoustic Sunshine   Nate Howell – Rhythm, lead, slide guitar & vocals.  Nate also performs as a member of the Local Celebrity Band, Kettle of Fish and the Ensemble   Berry Oakley Jr – Bass guitar & vocals.  Son of the late Berry Oakley, founding bassist of the Allman Brothers Band, Berry currently plays with Chuck Negron, vocalist for Three Dog Night, as well as the Blues Trio   Jeff “Jefe” Arevalo – Drums and vibes.  Brother to Pedro Arevalo, bass player for Dicky Betts & Great Southern, classically trained Jefe performs with the Blues Trio
