Acoustic Madness:  A collection of ideas that never quite fit in to my band situation or maybe it did...

ABOUT ME:

My name is John and I've been playing guitar for over 20 years.  I have always been interested in writing my own music and strive to be interesting and unique.  I have been in several bands ranging from a top 40 cover band to dark metal original projects.  I consider myself to be a guitar player vs. musician and even more so...an artist.  I graduated high school being "class artist".  I put down the paint brushes and pencils in high school to make the guitar my choice medium for artistic expression.  I am passionately driven and I've learned alot through the bands I've been in.

HISTORY

My bands "Solar Blue" and "Accelerate to Zero"  have dis-banded.  Both bands were going strong for about 3 years as I wrote guitar work for both simultaniously during that time.  Both bands were writing progressive complex music.  They were both different in that Solar Blue was energetic, melodic and in your face, while Accelerate to Zero was moody, dark, melodic, subdued music.  Practice on Monday and Wednesday with one band and Tuesday and Thursday with the other.  I accumulated 6 years of band experience in 3 years; this in not all in vain though.  No one can take away the experience with writing and gigging I've gained.  I have also developed my own sound with the electric guitar through my playing style, equipment, and effects.
