A BIRDSONG VALENTINE’S BIOGRAPHY:

This isn't your typical alt-rock / hardcore group inspired by screaming, shredding guitars and melodic 3 part harmonies. To be sure, their sound incorporates those elements, but the group possesses more depth and desire than most involved with the emo-core/post-grunge rock revival. Formed in the heart of Chicago in 2006, Brian Bender, Masta Shen, Oscar Diaz and Nate Bauman have achieved a great deal of success in a small period of time with a D.I.Y. attitude to get heard in an overly saturated market.

The band's first album “GIVING IN AGAIN” (August 2007) was recorded with Emmy Award winning producer Freddie Breitberg (Neil Diamond, Natalie Cole, Britney Spears). Their second effort, "SINK OR SWIM" (October 2008) was recorded with producer Matt Mercado (Mind Bomb, Escape From Earth), and finds the band venturing into even harder-hitting territory as they hone their unique raw sound and harsh style.
