A BEAUTIFUL CURSE was officially born in 2004 by freelance musician/producer Kenny James (George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, 24-7 Spyz, Celldweller, The Samples, and many more) combining emotional/dramatic rock, electronica, and downtempo/trip-hop.

While creating pieces for various indie films and corporate events, Kenny discovered guitarist Brian Skeel through his work with the band Contingence and his remix work with Fixt Music. In 2007, Brian was inducted as a full-time collaborator bringing amazing guitar work along with his tasty programming and vocals as well.

In 2008, Brian suggested the talents of vocalist/pianist Savannah Kocher for the song "On The Other Side". Her beautiful voice and delivery made such an impression on Kenny that a month later, Savannah became A BEAUTIFUL CURSE's latest full-time collaborator bringing with her the vocal seduction and projection ABC has sought since day one.

Originally designed for film soundtracks and music licensing (movies, t.v. commercials, etc.), A BEAUTIFUL CURSE is now a full-scale music project whose eyes are focused on the release of the debut cd "As It Should Be" coming in 2009 and live performances shortly thereafter. Yet, no matter its design, A BEAUTIFUL CURSE leaves in its wake dream-music from the heart and soul. A collision of groove and mood for the senses.
