On Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, Abby opened up the show for the music duo Montgomery Gentry. A Crowd of over 1,000 people poured into the Crystal Palace in Pontiac, IL. Abby & her father, Larry Velez, played that day before country music recording artist, Randy Montana, took the stage, & he was followed by Montgomery Gentry. Abby's songlist included some original tunes, some newer and older covers tunes, as well as some very old classic tunes. After such a great response from the crowd, Abby has been asked to return to the Crystal Palace but as the headliner the next time. After meeting with Montgomery Gentry between their shows, Abby said that Troy Gentry & Eddie Montgomery are both very nice, & only had good things to say to her as well as offer her some really great advice. ”
