Bio
Walk of Shame is Pittsburgh's Premier Party Band. They pride themselves on musical diversity, playing whatever is required to make the crowd happy. You will see them one night tearing up a college bar with fun singalong songs like "Sweet Caroline" and "Don't Stop Believin" and then rocking out at a biker bar the next night playing "Crazy Train" and "Man in the Box".

Walk of Shame is a great band to not only play a show, but throw a party!
About

"Spiffy" Sean Styles
Instruments played - Lead Vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica
Influences - John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Eddie Vedder
Favorite Bands - Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Blink 182, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Oasis
Spiffy" Sean Styles started out like everyone does - singing in the shower and the car. In a twist, enrollment at Duquesne University opened up several avenues for Spiffy to perform.
First, Spiffy was a part of Delta Chi - The leading greek Fraternity on campus. That involvement allowed Spiffy to participate in such events as Greek Sing, Formal Sing, and Carnival. Spiffy helped Delta Chi to repeat as Greek and Formal Sing champions for several years in a row. Spiffy joined the Campus Ministry, and sang in the church choir until graduation in 2006.
Sean always felt comfortable being on stage, largely as his past life as a professional wrestler. "Spiffy" Sean Styles performed in wrestling rings across the country, and was featured in such magazines as "Pro Wrestling Illustrated", being ranked as high as 354 in the world.
Spiffy performed with Mad Hatter through most of 2007 until the band went on temporary hiatus to celebrate the birth of lead guitar player Ed Harmon's first child.
Sean's search for a new band ended when he found Andy and Cory. After adding Dan "The Man" to the mix, "Walk of Shame" was formed! Spiffy Sean is all about performing, having a great time, and playing the music that people want to hear! Spiffy ads some guitar and harp as well as a great vocal range to the mix!

Smiles grew up outside of Pittsburgh. He comes from a family of local rock & blues legends, sporting Norm Nardini and Art Nardini (Joe Gruschecky & the Houserockers) as his cousins, and his father having played drums for numerous recognizable local bands throughout the years. It was only natural that he would eventually learn to play the drums from his father, which is what happened when he was in his mid-teens. He told his friends to pick-up a guitar and bass, and from there he collaborated with different people in his social circles to form numerous bands throughout high-school.
College hit, and it become inconvenient to cram drums into a small dorm room, so Smiles decided to take his marginal guitar knowledge that he picked up throughout the years and turn himself into a full-fledged guitarist. A few years down the road he slimmed his way into the band Aurora Again that current bass-player Cory "The Captain" Schuster was in, and from there they went on to have success playing at bars and venues all over State College. In just a matter of a few months, they wrote and recorded a 4-song demo that got airplay on college radio and got them into 4th place out of 50+ bands in a competition for the "Moving On" event that is held every year. Eventually graduation took its toll on the band and its members had to go their separate ways.
Three years later, Smiles and the Captain find themselves teaming up with Dan the Man and Spiffy Sean to form Walk of Shame. They look to take Pittsburgh by storm, playing covers of 90's and other rock tunes that they grew up on, and eventually creating original music that they hope will be loved by the masses.
Andy's major musical influences are, in no particular order, Tom Morello, Page Hamilton, Dave Grohl, Chino Moreno, John Frusciante, John Petrusci, and Jimmy Page.

Cory "Captain Awesome" Schuster
Instruments played: Bass, guitar, poor attempts at vocals
Favorite Bands: Rush, Coheed and Cambria, Metallica, Dream Theater, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rufio, Pearl Jam, Primus, The Beatles, Thursday, Tool, Deftones
Occupation: Formerly a database administrator / professional technology nerd, currently studying law
Cory grew up in Johnstown, PA, home of the World's Steepest Vehicular Inclined Plane. He currently lives in Pittsburgh, which has a pale imitation of Johnstown's inclined plane. If you wish to discuss all things incline plane, talk to Cory after the show.
His family had no real musical background, but his his mother claims that a member of Los Lobos asked her to come backstage with him when she attended a show they were playing. Cory's mom maintains this was for, uh, carnal reasons. Cory believes to this day that the nice gentleman from Los Lobos simply wanted to talk to his mother about geopolitics.
That traumatic story led Cory to stay away from music for years. But like countless angst-filled teenagers who are angry at their comfortable affluent lives, he decided to learn guitar. He eventually became more drawn to the rhythm section and decided to take up bass guitar.
Cory eventually ended up at Penn State where he formed a band that included a man named John who was a complete prick. After the band kicked out John for his prick-like personality, Andy "Smiles" Oddo was brought into the fold. As painful as it is for Cory to recognize achievements in others--he is, recall, a stereotypical egotistical Type A personality lawyer--he does admit that Smiles is a hell of a guitar player and riff writer. In addition to achieving cover band success, Smiles' creative efforts inspired the band to create a demo that received airplay and sent them to 4th place in a large Battle of the Bands competition.
Smiles and The Captain both ended up in Pittsburgh in 2007. They currently live with a third roommate named Apples. This fact has absolutely no bearing on the story except to say that the three men are collectively known as "The Captain, Apples, and Smiles", which The Captain thinks would be an awesome name for a drink.
Smiles and The Captain decided to start another band and eventually came across Dan the Man Aluise and Spiffy Sean. They are now known as Walk of Shame. .
