GREAT MUSIC! GREAT FOOD! GREAT CHARITY! The first annual “I Am What I Am” Music Festival and Benefit in Shelbyville, TN on August 18, 2012 at the Bedford County Agriculture Center to raise money and awareness for Autism in Middle Tennesse. The “I Am What I Am” Music Festival and Benefit will kick off at 10:00 am with the National Anthem and a send-off to hundreds of bikers heading out on the annual “Aut 2 Be Kids" Motorcycle Benefit Ride. Local, regional and touring musicians will be performing all day on our main stage. FEST HEADS will enjoy LIVE MUSIC including Rock, Pop, Country, Blues, Hick Hop, Bluegrass and more on the main stage and acoustic stage. The festival will have a LIVE auction, antique car show, karaoke contest, food, art and craft vendors, and a kids zone with face painting, bouncy house, Spiderman, Ironman and much, much more for children and folks of all ages! Attendance is expected to be anywhere from 400-1,200 festival goers. Parking is $2 per vehicle in the field adjacent to the Bedford County Agriculture Center. Located in the heart of Middle Tennessee, Shelbyville lies within 500 miles of half the U.S. population and is only a 50 minute drive from The Nashville International Airport. SUPPORT OUR LIVE AUCTION! 100% of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to support children with Autism. Ninety percent (90%) of all proceeds will go to the Bedford County Association for Exceptional Students (BCAES), Inc, a 501c3 Tennessee charity committed to helping families in the Middle Tennessee area who live with Autism. Your attendance, donations to our live auction with local auctioneer, Adam Johnson and your financial support will help fund the Bedford County “Aut 2 Be Kids” Club which provides FREE year-round activities and support for our Bedford County and Middle Tennessee families with Autism! Ten percent (10%) of all proceeds will go to the Autism Society of Middle Tennessee (ASMT) for research and development into finding the cause for Autism, which now affects 1 out of 100 children!
