Follow David Sturdevant & Friends to Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley for hot music and amazing pizza at the Cheese Board, where locals go and tourists know this joints happening! David spins the turnstile of his amazing ensemble of star performers that make up the one and only Medicine Ball every other week for just the right mix that makes long lines worth every minute. With good time friends and new friends too, visiting luminaries like Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown's bandleader, arranger and sax great) and local favorites like John Stafford, Carla Kaufman, Ylonda Nickell, Richard Howell and others - the music is the best around.
