Selcuk Bor | CEO/Manager - Composer

Selcuk is an award winning composer and sound designer who has had many of his audio works featured across many licensing sites. Selcuk is also a published author on topics such as musical business, the industry and services available to indie artists worldwide.

His strength lies in the epic orchestral and ethnic scenes as well as a strong drive towards game oriented audio. Feeling fascinated by the music first and content of games/movies second it was only a matter of time before music became an important part of his life. Fast forward the years and now this is all he does.

Founding the freelance audio group Symphony of Specters with a small circle of friends around 2007 whom collectively have taken great strides in reaching and delivering their services across many markets with equal pride and commitment to each project they've all undertaken. A closely knit group of friends who do what they love and well.

Matt Wiesen | Co-Manager - Composer

Matt joined the company mid 2009 and brought with him a storm of creativity. Assisting in signficant ways to keep affairs in order and tapping new venues for the company to take as well as properly exploit venues already set up.

An aspiring metal artist and the guy for heavier material in the team though don't let that make you think it's all he's capable of producing. His strength lies in composing heavy/aggressive and melodical metal pieces, videogame styled tunes as well as softer guitar compositions all of which can be heard in his demo reel.

Music had always a big significance in his life and always will. A recording artist since late 2005 and simply put, with experience comes quality!

David Rathburn | Webmaster - Design Artist - Composer

David is the engine so to speak behind our wagon. Every time something breaks we speed dial his phone. Amazingly enough he's there every time. We haven't even heard his voice mail yet...

David has also done most the graphics of the site giving it the inviting glow and shimmer.

Even though, he's a certified technician and avid programmer, David is also a composer himself. His strength resides in the old-school gaming epica when FM faded out of existence and workstation technology reigned supreme. When strings begin to sway as a windy breeze and choirs cry that of misty ghosts, you will find David behind it.

JP Neufeld | Lead Sound Designer - Composer

JP joined SoS mid 2009 and within months contributed a large and exciting collection of sound effects and music.

A real enthusiast for sound design coupled with some seriously good sense of hearing and style has resulted in many really bizarre but highly enjoyable tracks. JP has done a lot of really odd and interesting jobs over his life. Carrying around with him his trusty field recorder he's had the opportunity to grab some very interesting sounds in which Symphony of Specters bases its sound design service.

His strength's borrow strongly from his sound design interests giving birth to some fascinating DnB and Electronica based songs. One of our personal favs involves using the scraping of cardboard against a mic. Just fascinating.

Charles Evans | Lead Composer

Charles’s compositional style encompasses both orchestral and contemporary rock elements and often blending the two into massive arrangements. 

From epic orchestral themes to hard-hitting metal breakdowns, Charles looks to extract maximum audience impact from each cue he creates. Charles has a rather sharp sense of direction when it comes to analyzing and expressing a given notion or emotion. Though young in the scene we take great pride in shoving him in the front lines and watching him bust out the track that nails it.

Sam Wilson | Composer

Sam is one of our youngest members but by no means does his youth have any indication on his performance.

Running the company Approaching Nirvana with his partner in crime Andrew and working here with us at SoS and doing both well is a true testament to his devotion to the craft.

Sam specializes in the electronica/techno scene with riveting dance/glitch core vibes and many other styles.

Andrew Sinclair | Composer

Andrew has a unique talent in composing mainstream music with classical instruments. Flowing melodies and emotional phrases are some of his fortes.

Andrew writes meaningful lyrics and sings with a voice that has a destinct gritty raw sound to it, which catches your attention and brings the lyrics closer to home. Andrew is well versed with mixing and mastering craft which is evident enough in his music.
