“Make 'em Laugh ...Ross Duncliffe, a comic from Kentucky, recently made his second appearance at Wild Wing Café. He was happy to hear that Johnson was about to take his act on the road. "This is where people start out," he said. "You get out there and you get on stage. That's where you really get to hone your stuff." Duncliffe has been a touring comic since 2000, gradually moving from opening act to headliner. "I do clubs, colleges, bars," he said. "You play wherever you can when you start out. One of my first years of doing comedy, I played a gas station. I'm not even joking." For his latest appearance here, Duncliffe performed with Josh Branham, another Kentucky comic. "I started out as an actor, but I didn't like working with people," he said after the show. "I started doing stand-up comedy, because if I'm going to suck, I'm going to suck on my own."
