With lyrics that combine insight, tale and a rich tapestry of characters - Matt Kemp is a dynamic singer/songwriter who leads with warm expressive vocals, percussion and an exciting blend of picked, melodic, soulful rhythm guitar.
Matt moves through many different musical terrains at his concerts and his performances are always heartfelt, passionate and always full of surprises.
As well as touring as a solo artist across the East of America and Europe and supporting established artists. Matt's musical journey has taken in a diverse range of acts including Glastonbury and Notting Hill favourites ‘Engine room' . This hybrid band combined the ethos of Trinidad percussion and dance music to create a band that had explosive energy and the abilty to get any dancefloor moving.

More recently Matt was the energy and drive behind ‘Nimomashtic', who over two tours  walked 1200 miles and played 50 concerts across the UK as they sought to raise awareness about climate change.
Featured on BBC national radio and TV, the aim of the ‘Walk your talk' tours was to highlight environmental issues and inspire individuals to make little adjustments to their lifestyles that can help reduce the effect of global warming. The bands first tour was recorded on film and is being turned into a documentary to be released in the spring.
