Makeda's first CD "In Your Honour" was a project dedicated to the Nurses who battled the Toronto SARS epidemic. She is in the final stages of completing an intensive and epic recording project. Makeda loves to perform live and can be heard at various Toronto establishments. She is a regular performer at Fat Albert's... Toronto's longest running open stage. Makeda has recently branched out into music mentoring performances in the Toronto District School Board. She feels honoured to have the privilege to inspire the next generation of music makers.

As an artist Makeda's goals are to get her music heard by whoever is willing to listen. Her desire is to change the planet one song at a time. Makeda values her Artistic independance but is open to exploring business partnership considerations. Although she aspires to be showered with songwriting awards, your well crafted comments of support are more than enough to sustain her on a rewarding but challenging musical journey.

In preparation for a music industry documentary Makeda has researched various aspects of the Music Industry. As a result, she has gained valuable artist promotional and marketing insights.
