“'Love' is the fourth album and first studio release from the Auckland worship team and the result is breathtaking. Just a look at the song-writing credits alone reveals 10 different songsmiths and this diversity is expressed through a multitude of styles ranging from smooth R&B and poignant balladry to gospel-tinged dance and the odd bit of solid funk thrown in for good measure (check out "Inspired" and the opener "Getcha" as prime examples of the latter). On the whole, most of the songs are of a slow and more contemplative nature ("Emmanuel", "Your Love" and "Touch Me Lord" being standout tracks) and, having been expertly seasoned with the occasional up tempo number, there is an engaging freshness throughout. The raw talent revealed in the band's previous outings is still evident and sits comfortably with Wayne Huirua's slick production. This stunning expression of worship comes with a wholehearted recommendation.”

“Brand new songs drawn from a wide breadth of NZ songwriters, 'Glorious' carries the three-piece team's now established combination of styles - strong, mid-paced worship anthems; melodic, adorational ballads and those interspersing funky urban grooves. The title track is something of a combination of categories one and three - rousing stuff. More characteristic, though, are those gentler numbers which emphasise the Father's encompassing, unfailing love and his paramount honour - these float along, washing over you with waves of warm, tender emotion, lifting your spirit high as they go. "King Of Love", complete with pipe organ intro, appears like a methodical, old-fashioned hymn; "Hold Me Near" is whisperingly soft; while the soulful "All That I Need" draws out the silky co-lead tones of guest American Israel Houghton. Though not breaking new ground, this is another rich, mature offering from a team who appear focused on an audience of One.”

“The switch from Kingsway to Fierce! for New Zealand's premier praise and worship ministry will hopefully give some much deserved profile to one of the most powerfully anointed ministries in the world Church. Libby and Wayne Huirua and the other Parachutists have got hold of something from God in their wistfully tuneful praise songs. Stylistically, the band have always covered most of the bases from rock-tinged numbers to slinky R&B to middle of the road balladry ala Hillsong. So, in an effort to bring a little more stylistic coherence into this CD, Fierce! have taken off three songs from the Australian release and added two - the pop rock anthems "All My Life" and "Jesus" from the band's 2000 'Love' album, unrleased in the UK. A good move though UCB Europe listeners might be disappointed that the compilers couldn't have found room for the playlisted ballad "Touch Me Lord". ”
