“Out of Fairfield, California comes Kryptic Memories. What set these guys apart to me is the ‘vibe’ you get in their songs. It’s different, they can go sonic assault at the drop of a dime yet have hints of too many styles of music within their own to simply classify them (I f**king hate that by the way) I can hear early Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies comes to mind; in other words, they kick ass! The...y just released a five song EP and this captures them at an almost live sound, which rocks! The vocals of Dsx Kalista, also the lead guitarist, are both in your face deep throated and staccato attack ala Joey Belladonna or Mike Muir. Drummer Rick HoWweird adds stylistic rhythms and then assaults the skins with aggression, his sudden burst as fills can be wicked indeed. Max Volume nails down the Bass and backing vocals while guitarist Josh Carson rounds out the hurricane of sound in store for anyone that listens.”
