7tha Annual Rockin' BBQ for the Troops Benefit. We play at 2 PM for a 90 minute set. Bands run from 12 - 8 PM. Food, Live bands, raffles, keg beer, full cash bar, and more. $15 per person.
The 5th Annual Rockin' BBQ for the Troops Benefit will be held on Saturday May 19th from noon until 8 PM. There will be live bands, food, raffles, keg beer, full cash bar, and more. It's $15 per person and tickets are available in advance or at the door on the day of the event. We also have event t-shirts available for sale for $10 each. The band lineup for this year is: Beyond Repair, Bad Habit, Barely Legal, Monkeyfinger, and Disorderly Conduct. The event will go on rain or shine. We will have two tents set up. History of our event: The "Rockin' BBQ for the Troops" benefit was first held on May 18th 2008 at American Legion Paper City Post 325 in Holyoke MA. After great success, we decided to make it an annual event. The "Rockin' BBQ for the Troops" is now held on Armed Forces Day which is the 3rd Saturday of May each year. All money raised goes toward buying care packages for local troops deployed in harm's way as well as other local veteran related causes.
