"Badwater Band heads to regionals. Jeremy Phifer & The Texas Badwater Band have won the North Texas leg of the Colgate Country Showdown music competition and are moving on to the regional competition. After winning the local event held earlier this year, the band competed Sept. 17 in Grant, Okla., at the Choctaw Casino against seven other bands and came out on top with the $1,000 prize."
