In the Fall of 2008 founding members Myke Clements, Rik Espinosa and Kirk Asher came together in Myke's apartment to lay the musical foundation that would become Hepafilter. With lyrics written in Crayon on napkins the trekked to Phoenix Arizona and recorded their first song in a church nursery.
