Century Got BARS / Press

"This is Century Got Bars’ first time nominated for a Sammies—she’s in the Emcee category. She’s also the only female rapper in the group. Good luck!"

"And finally, to close out the night Century Got Bars (thankfully) graced the mic. Century, a slight female with the vocals of MC Lyte and energy and playfulness of De La Soul, bounded around the stage from one point to the next while the singer Poeticc, belted out killer moody hooks. There's something about a great female emcee who moves the crowd that brings me back to the way hip-hop used to be--soulful, fun, laid-back and transporting. Her set should have lasted another 30 mins.

"CENTURY GOT BARS...YES SHE DOES"

"The Sacramento lyricist---who would hunt me down if I called her a femcee--has been working quietly on an upcoming project. After sampling a few of her new tracks, dare I say Im excited about the Girl Power mixtape."

"Dont forget That CENTURY GOT BARS Drops Her Album tomorrow Called “FORGET TODAY, REMEMBER TOMORROW”"
