“Track-off: P Dolla Jillz vs Swagga
Welcome to the first track-off of the New Year Before we begin, a special 2011 message: I appreciate all the local artists from different genres and listeners/voters who took time out to enter and/or voice their choice in this contest. I started this about a year ago with the intention of putting the spotlight on some tremendous talent in the city and I am confident that I succeeded.
I also want to make sure quality music by Chicago artists gets into the RedEye regularly, and that has happened as well.
So, let's keep it going with these two entries.
I'd say the themes are bounce and bravado. Check out what they have to offer and let me know which of them should consider the proud track-off tradition of being featured in the RedEye.
And if you disapprove of them both, you know what to do. Hit "neither" and don't feel one damn bit guilty about it.
