BELLYSLAP - Drumming for Bellydancers.

We are Bellyslap, a community drum-ensemble specialising in Egyptian and Middle-Eastern (ME) rhythms and techniques.

We lurve to provide bellydancers with the opportunity to dance to live drumming, helping the audience "visualise the rhythms" they are listening to. CD tracks are so passe!

We play a variety of ME and world percussion instruments, including the darabuka (tabla), req, persian daf, tar, zils, jembe, dun-duns, davul and tasha drum.

Our favourite gigs are at bellydance school concerts, community festivals and charity events. We'd also like to drum for your special occasion, birthday party, wedding, end of year celebration, NYE, etc.
