Q: Where do you hope to be in 5 years in regards to your music and growing business? Jennifer Kelly-Santee

A: Well...I spent a ton of time writing and recording everything. Writing starts at a snail's pace, and gains momentum-but getting started with an idea for a song is TOUGH. Once I have the basics of a song in my head, writing it out, recording it, mixing, that's lightspeed. Then it gets tedious again, having to master the stuff, try to fix blips...putting artwork together...then getting the stupid product out in the market is brain-numbing. But it's frantic again, because you're basically pushing a huge rock up a steep hill by yourself. So I have no time to write or play right now. In five years, I'd like to apply what I'm learning and any money I have in a record label, where I can hire people to do all the stuff I don't (as much) so I can do my thing, and the label would be strictly devoted to promoting Oklahoma musicians. Bobby
