“New Zealand's answer to Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath”
—
Dan Duran, Nexus
“While featuring name acts like such as 8Foot Sativa, Subtract, Shakhan and Dawn Of Azazeal, it's the local acts that provide many of the highlights, not the least being 8Forty8 featuring the Koretz Brothers, with the huge sound of Out Of Mind”
—
Kerry Cooper, Waikato Times
“You've got a great voice man”
—
Glenn Hughes, The Voice Of Rock, Deep Purple
“Despite most things being back open on Saturday the crowds were even bigger with thousands packing the Hatchery Lawn to hear energetic rockers 8Forty8. ”
—
Chris Hillock, Taranaki Daily News
“Fifteen years of pushing out tunes has resulted in tight, polished performances for the family of rockers known as 8forty8”
—
Aidan Smith, This Week
“This is excellent. Intended more as a release than a demo tape. This group from New Zealand have an absolutely huge tape on their hands here. Liberal doses of the best of everything. In other words, virtuous musicianship, polished production, catchy choruses, the whole damn nine. The twelve songs on the album cover the field from big, ballsy stadium rockers to radio friendly, balladic tear jerkers. As a promotional tape it's gonna be way too long for most, but as a release it allows the band to use their whole song list to snare you in and carry you along across, the full width of this band's musical menu. An outstanding piece of work.”
