710OIL was formed by Chris Johnson in 1997. In 1998, Chris stole Vincenzo Mastopasqua from a hardcore/metal band. In 2005, Ian Switz saw an ad in a music store for a band needing a lead guitarist, and within weeks was a member. In 2008, Les Moseley, a longtime friend, bass player and audio technician was called upon to take over as bass guitarist. The circle was finally complete.
