66ohm began in 2001 as a project between Paul "bub" Stevens and Ron "Cowboy" Rice.
Starting off as an acoustic duo, 66ohm played some great venues in the San Diego area. With Sean "The Colonel" Lawson on bass and Todd Caschetta on drums 66ohm started firing on all cylinders . Unfortunately, during this time bub's alcohol and drug abuse took a toll on the band, resulting in increasingly erratic shows and internal conflicts.
