"Songwriters and Poets was invited to curate the entertainment program for the 16th Annual Clarendon Day held in the heart of Arlington, Va. on Saturday, September 28, 2013. We listened and with the help of the Clarendon Alliance, Director Matt Hussman and Board Member Khalil Minor we created a program that included three stages that intertwined dance and music with priority given to artists from the Arlington area intermixed with touring artists from across the spectrum of genres to help lift the level of artistry. Through everyone’s efforts and the brilliant addition of the DC Chili Cook-off the event day doubled in size to over 20,000 attendees and in 2014 we hope to double it again!"
