J-Batters BKA KPJ grew up on Bailey ave., one of Buffalo's most NOTORIOUS blocks. J is one of the well known faces from the Bailey area. Coming up J always had a strong passion for music, which came from his father listening to artist like Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Biggie, 2PAC, and many more. J was the type of kid that didnt really want for nothing because his Mother and Father always provided for him and his sibblings. But when J turned about 15/16 he started to see things a little different from hangin around with the older guys in his area. J-Batters began to see Money, Cars, Cloths, and Women, which gave J a whole new mind set. This is where J-Batters life went in a totally different direction, J began hustling at the age of 16 on the corner of Minnesota and Bailey. J-Batters (B.K in the streets as KPJ) began to see a lot of money from being in the streets all day and night. By this time J-Batters BKA KPJ had made a name for himself in the streets. People knew that they couldnt just come from any where and make money on Minnesota unless J-Batters had something to do with it. J was feard and well RESPECTED. When J was 18 he and Duke(William Graham "R.I.P")a good friend of his started Take Money Entertainment, they rapped but never really intended on doing anything with the talent that they had because they were caught up in the streets. About 1 year later on 11-12-02, J lost his good friend Duke to gunfire during a home invasion(Take Money). 4 years Later J-Batters life would take a drastic turn, on July 2 2006 J was shot in the face at point blank range on Lisbon ave which was only one street over from where he started off hustling and running the streets. Miraculously J survived and was released from Erie County Medical Center about 2 1/2 weeks later. The following week after being released from the hospital J was pulled over and arrested for Criminal Possesion of a loaded firearm. Later he plead guilty to the charge and served time in Erie County Correctional Facility. This is when J-Batters realized he needed to make some changes in his life. From the time J was shot to the time he went to jail, J met Vincent Jaskowiak and they had the same goals which were to start a successful record label. So they started 3G Take Money Entertainment. 3G came from Vinny which means Gangsta Grimey Gorilla, and Take Money Ent. came from J-Batters. J took the money he made when he was in the streets and bought a house, and some studio equipment and created a studio. Now that J-Batters have realized what he's here on this earth for he has dedicated most of his time into trying to get his label off of the ground. He's almost there!!! "SUPPORT J-BATTERS"
