With the sexy, sultry attack from vocalist Cara Young, Inner Frequency's adventurous rhythms and soaring melodies satisfy rockers and popsters alike. Based in Dallas, TX, this four-piece acoustic pop/rock band is creating a buzz with their fresh take on creating and performing catchy tunes.

_With a sound that is undeniably their own, Inner Frequency's commanding lyrics, soaring melodies and fresh riffs weave through grooving beats. Their catchy songs are sing-along friendly and memorable, just as easily enjoyed listening alone at home or in the car or watching one of their upbeat live shows.

_Inner Frequency, (iF), was conceived in early 2005 off the Backpages of Dallas when one divinely talented guitarist, Luke Carnevale, was discovered by one increasingly brilliant vocalist, Cara Young, whilst futilely hitch-hiking the internet Highway.

_After discovering each other's eerily similar writing styles - despite their distinctly contrasting musical backgrounds - Inner Frequency was born.  The budding acoustic duo quickly began collaborating, recording, and rocking open mic nights, festivals, bars and coffee shops all over Dallas/Ft. Worth.

_As the duo evolved into a full band, the music itself began to change and over the course of the past two years has become a style all its own, call it what you may be it acoustic pop/rock or folk rock, it is undeniably funky and fresh, groovy and catchy, yet still at times deep and intense. Cara's strong, sultry voice is reminiscent of such artists as Annie Lennox, Natalie Merchant, and Concrete Blonde's Johnette Napolitano; however, when fused with the often percussive strains of Luke's distinctive guitar stylings it invokes comparisons to a feminine version of Maroon V or Vertical Horizon. With Brad Brock providing the groove on bass and Jon Mosig providing the glue that keeps it all together, Inner Frequency continues to evolve.

_The band has performed at over 40 venues/festivals in Texas, mostly in the DFW area but also extending to Denton, Austin, San Antonio and College Station, with some highlights being opening for Eddie Money in 2008 at the Rowlett Festival of Freedom and playing the main stage at Taste of Addison in 2007.

_Cara and Luke's collaborative style is quite unique: the two rarely physically sit side by side in the same room to work on a new song, but instead exchange ideas and then work on them individually. This approach to songwriting creates a diverse catalog of material that reflects vastly different perspectives on life, love and the world.

_Inner Frequency is currently working on it's debut full-length album. In the last  two years, the band has self-released three CDs with a total of 9 original tunes, including The Lemmontree Project EP (2006) and two extended singles.

_Inner Frequency's foremost goal is to make music that both speaks to and moves all who fall inadvertently within hearing distance. Join them as they grow and expand in size and sound.  All they ask is for you to love your inner freq., listen to it daily and remember to share it with a friend.
