“Best Local Band: 10 Minutes Down.
Well, the kids are back, all right, and in a big way this year. The longtime skankers first took this category back in 2002, but were beat out the past two years. But this year, their fans came out in full force, invading our racks and crayoning in enough votes to double those of the second place band, Five Foot Thick. ”

“Of all the bands at Warped I have to say that 10 Minutes Down and Good Charlotte were the best...I have to tell you that most of the people who saw you play were from Nampa High School and they all think you rock.”

“So a dozen or so horn players, five drummers, two vocalists, a guitar and a bass player, and several years removed from their original "straight-ska" set-up, 10 Minutes Down faces change. Again. And they're succeeding. This year, 10 Minutes Down released their second album Fluke. They wrapped up a third appearance on the Van's Warped Tour. They opened for Sir Mix-A-Lot at a Miller Blind Date party. They won a "battle of the bands" night at Thirsty's and took home $500 cash. They recently headlined R.A.W.K.'s "Support the Local Scene" show at the Big Dipper. And they doubled as winners of this year's Best Local Band category and Local CD of the Year. Musicians, live music fans, promoters and even ex-bandmates have been quick to point to 10 Minutes Down as one of the most improved, exciting and promising young bands in town. ”

“Wow. I now understand why all 10MD keeps getting ranked as best band in Spokane. Don't get me wrong,I really don't like ska. But damn, you guys put on a hell of a show. Bravo.”

“They [10MD]seemed to be the most anticipated by the audience. Before the first note was tooted or the first chord was strummed, fans herded to the front of the stage for a better view. ... The tent was shaking as the boys rocked the crowd with energy and enthusiasm.”

“They rock. Started by two college friends in 197. 10MD has been busy winning awards, playing the Van's Warped Tour and putting on live shows that are legendary. As a seven-memberbank including a three piece horn section, it's been said these cool cats "spend more time in the sir than on the stage." They'll be skankin' in Boise with Suburban Outsiders, Switch Hitter, and Against All Odds.”
